Animal Medical Center of Danville is hiring Dog Daycare Attendants / Kennel Assistants for the busy summer season. This position is perfect for students, animal lovers, or anyone interested in gaining hands-on experience in animal care, dog daycare, boarding kennels, or veterinary fields.
Our team is responsible for providing a safe, clean, and fun environment for dogs staying at our daycare and boarding facility.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise dogs during daycare playgroups
- Monitor dog behavior and maintain safe interactions
- Clean and sanitize kennels, play yards, and common areas
- Feed and provide fresh water for dogs
- Assist with daily care routines and facility upkeep
- Help with dog check-in and check-out when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Must enjoy working with dogs of all sizes and personalities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, active environment
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Weekend availability required
- Previous dog handling or kennel experience is a plus but not required
