We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dog Walker and Pet Sitter to provide exceptional care for our clients' beloved pets. This role involves engaging with animals through daily walks, exercise, and attentive pet sitting, ensuring their well-being and happiness. Duties
- Handling dogs and other pets with care and attention to their individual needs
- Providing daily dog walking services to ensure pets receive adequate exercise and mental stimulation
- Assisting with pet exercise routines to promote healthy activity levels
- Caring for cats and other small animals, including feeding, playing, and administering medication if necessary
- Pet sitting in clients’ homes, including feeding, administering medication, and providing companionship
- Overnight in-home pet care to ensure pets are comfortable and secure during their owners’ absence
- Monitoring pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns to pet owners promptly
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for the pets under your care
Experience
- Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or animal care is preferred but not mandatory; a genuine love for animals is essential
- Ability to handle multiple pets safely and confidently in various settings
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with pet owners and understand specific pet requirements
- Reliable transportation or means to reach clients’ locations efficiently
- Demonstrated responsibility and professionalism in caring for animals of different temperaments and needs
