Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify termite activity and damage.
- Apply chemical agents safely and effectively using appropriate equipment
- Operate company vehicles responsibly to transport tools, chemicals, and equipment to job sites.
- Follow all safety protocols including confined space entry procedures, respiratory protection standards, and chemical handling guidelines.
- Implement integrated pest management strategies tailored to each property’s needs, emphasizing environmentally responsible practices.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, chemicals used, and inspection findings for compliance and reporting purposes.
Experience
- Prior experience in pest control or related outdoor work such as lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of pesticide management, chemical application techniques, and pest control chemical handling is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to operate company vehicles confidently is preferred.
- Understanding of entomology principles related to termites and other pests enhances effectiveness in treatment strategies.
- Excellent customer service skills are necessary to communicate effectively with clients about treatments and safety precautions.
- Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols including confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection standards is critical for success.
