What are the responsibilities and job description for the Termite Technician position at Central Termite and Pest Control?
The Mission
At Central Termite and Pest, we don’t just "spray bugs." We protect the biggest investment our customers will ever make: their homes. We are looking for a Termite Technician who is part investigator, part strategist, and 100% customer-focused. If you have a sharp eye for detail and enjoy a job where no two days (or crawl spaces) are the same, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- The Inspection: Conduct thorough interior and exterior inspections to identify active termite infestations, wood-destroying organisms (WDO), and conducive conditions.
- The Solution: Design and execute treatment plans, including soil barrier treatments, baiting system installations, and wood injections.
- The Consultation: Explain findings to homeowners with clarity and empathy—turning "technical talk" into actionable peace of mind.
- The Precision: Safely handle and apply termiticides according to label instructions and state regulations.
- The Documentation: Maintain digital service records and structural maps using our mobile reporting software.
What You Bring to the Team
- Experience: Previous experience in termite control or construction is preferred, but we will train the right person with a "can-do" attitude.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to navigate tight crawl spaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. You aren't afraid to get your hands dirty.
- Clean Record: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are non-negotiable.
- Communication: Strong verbal skills.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
- Stability: Termites never stop working, and neither do we. We offer year-round, consistent employment.
- Growth: We pay for your licensing and ongoing CEU training.
- Gear: You’ll be provided with a company vehicle, fuel card, PPE, tools needed for the job and cell phone.
- Benefits: Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay.
Central Termite and Pest is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
