Junior Data Engineer
Role Description
Support the development, maintenance, and optimization of data infrastructure that enables reliable analytics, reporting, and business intelligence. Build and manage data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality, consistency, and accuracy. Assist in maintaining databases, data warehouses, and data processing systems that support organizational data needs. Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable data solutions. Monitor data workflows, troubleshoot technical issues, automate routine processes, and maintain documentation while contributing to continuous improvements in data architecture, performance, and governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of SQL, databases, data structures, and data processing concepts. Familiarity with programming or scripting languages, cloud platforms, and data integration technologies is advantageous. Understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, data modeling, and data governance principles is beneficial. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with the capability to work effectively across technical and business teams. Ability to learn new technologies quickly, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
