We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and data infrastructure. The role involves working with structured and unstructured data to ensure reliable data flow across systems, enabling accurate reporting and analytics. Responsibilities include assisting in building ETL/ELT processes, integrating data from multiple sources, maintaining databases, optimizing data storage and performance, and supporting data quality checks. The role also involves collaborating with analysts, engineers, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions. You will contribute to developing automated workflows, improving data reliability, and supporting cloud-based or on-premise data platforms. This position provides exposure to modern data engineering practices, big data ecosystems, and end-to-end data lifecycle management in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field preferred. Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, particularly in Python, SQL, or similar languages. Familiarity with databases, data structures, and basic ETL concepts is highly desirable. Knowledge of cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), data warehousing, or distributed systems is an advantage. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail are essential. Candidates should demonstrate good communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and a willingness to learn modern data engineering tools and frameworks. Familiarity with data pipelines, APIs, or workflow orchestration tools is considered a plus.
