Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing of transactions
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Develop and suggest beverage recipes to enhance the menu and meet guest preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage cash handling efficiently, including processing payments and giving accurate change
- Assist in food service when needed, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods or special events
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or serving within a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering and food handling procedures
- Demonstrated expertise in mixology, spirits, wine knowledge, and beverage recipe development
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order calculations
- Experience with alcohol service regulations and food safety standards
- Knowledge of craft beer trends, cocktail techniques, and beverage presentation styles is highly desirable
