Key Responsibilities
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement and upholding company culture and core values
- Serve as a contact for employees, providing guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and workplace concerns
- Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation, ensuring a seamless transition into the company
- Process employee terminations, maintaining compliance with labor laws and internal policies
- Assist with payroll processing when necessary, ensuring accuracy and compliance with wage and hour laws
- Track and administer wage garnishments as required
- Support managers and supervisors in documentation and record-keeping related to employee relations and disciplinary actions
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, claims processing, and employee inquiries related to health, dental, vision, and retirement plans
- Maintain HR information systems and employee records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. (Relevant work experience in lieu of degree considered in lieu of degree)
- 2 years relevant work experience
- Working knowledge of Human Resources Administration
- Knowledge of State and Federal labor laws and policies
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information and documentation
