Apartment Maintenance Technician - Roanoke, Alabama
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 DOE
Personnel Staffing, Inc. is currently seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to assist with the upkeep of affordable housing apartment communities in the Roanoke area. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining safe and comfortable living environments for residents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repair work in apartments and common areas
- Complete work orders including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and basic carpentry repairs
- Assist with apartment turns and unit preparation for new residents
- Maintain property grounds and ensure buildings are in good condition
- Identify maintenance issues and report any larger repairs needed
- Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience preferred (apartment or property maintenance is a plus)
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation and good work ethic
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a 10-panel drug screen.
