What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building, wiring, testing, and documenting electronic assemblies position at Personnel People?
Responsibilities:
- Working with the engineering team in development and accuracy of standard assembly work instructions for new products
- Reading instructions such as work orders, diagrams and wire lists to determine which material is needed and sequence of assembly
- Conducting a variety of tests to analyze and evaluate new materials to use in new products
- Documentation and feedback as needed for improvement of process
- Using hand tools and power assembly tools such as solder irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers
- If needed operating automatic and semiautomatic assembly equipment and machines
- Selecting, cutting, marking wires of specified color, marking or length
- Wire prepping and tinning, wrapping and tie wires to form harness
- Install electrical connector pins, contacts, install terminals and contacts to end of wires
- Insert or install wires to components, plugs or terminal strips
- Visually inspecting parts to ensure in compliance with standards
- Reporting nonconforming material
- Install heat shrink, expandable or other sleeving as needed
- Application of sealant, marking and labeling with identifying data on completed assemblies
- Entering information using company computer system
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Experience using MRP or ERP systems to review bills of materials would be a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office Software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Paint
- Basic math skills
The hours are:
Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm
The pay is up to $25.00 an hour
