Briggs Engineering & Testing is seeking a qualified professional to serve as the Director of Testing Services, reporting directly to the President of the company.

Director of Testing Services Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering and/or testing and inspection
- B.S. in engineering, construction technology or related field
- Demonstrated leadership experience with strong people and resource management skills
- Familiarity with ACI, ASTM, AMRL, CCRL, NETTCP standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
Director of Testing Services Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for all construction materials and geotechnical testing activities in both field and laboratory environments
- Manage, supervise, and support subordinate employees, including laboratory technicians, field technicians, and inspectors
- Direct the overall coordination, scheduling, and execution of testing operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely project delivery
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
- Interview, hire, onboard, train, mentor, and retain qualified technical staff
- Oversee laboratory accreditation, quality control programs, audits, and corrective action processes
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure testing services meet project requirements and contractual obligations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing processes, staff development, and operational efficiency
