OCES Protective Service Dept is expanding to 11 more towns including Quincy, Braintree, Weymouth etc.
OCES supports older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing vital information and coordination of services. By promoting healthy, save lives for our consumers, we hope to allow them to stay as active and engaged in their lives and in their own communities for as long as possible.
We are seeking a Protective Services Assistant Director to plan, organize, manage, and evaluate Protective Services operations and assigned staff.
What you'll do:

Assure compliance with Massachusetts Executive Office of Aging and Independence (AGE)
regulations and Program Instructions - Contribute to the development and implementation of procedures, standards, and guidelines for program/department operations

Provide direct supervision to the Protective Services Program Managers.

Ensure program integrity and regulatory compliance
- Assist and implement quality assurance systems including case reviews and other designation requirements

Participate in the planning and execution of comprehensive staff development and training programs.

Advise and consult with other management staff from various disciplines on a regular basis

Represent OCES at external meetings and participate in public outreach/education activities and events

Support recruitment, onboarding training and performance evaluation processes

Provide coaching consultation and guidance on complex or high-risk cases.

Ensure adherence to documentation standards

Serves as primary Liaison for the District Attorney's, health care system and legal
- Other duties as assigned
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or related field, Master's preferred

Current Social Work License (Advanced License preferred)

Five years' experience in a human services environment
- Four years in a protective services' supervisory capacity
- Three to five years in a senior leadership role.

Excellent Clinical Crisis management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
