Pay Rate: $23.00 after 6 months $23.50Schedule: 12a-8a, 9p-5a, and 10p-6aReports To: SHIPPING SUPERVISOR/SALES MANAGERJob descriptionAs a Warehouse Associate at our local bakery, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely shipment of bakery products to various destinations. You will be paid every week, so you'll see that paycheck rolling in regularly!Warehouse Associate ResponsibilitiesCount and unload goods from delivery trucks, verifying that they match the accompanying shipping documents.Check items for damage and take corrective action when necessary, such as notifying supervisors or documenting issues.Maintain cleanliness and order in the shipping area, adhering to safety regulations.Operate equipment such as modified hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks to move goods within the warehouse.Assist in shipping audits to verify accurate work, document inventory errors and report to supervisor.Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and company policies related to shipping and handling of goods.Ensure that all received products are properly labeled and stored in designated areas.Process orders accurately and efficiently.Ensure that products received from distribution center are accurately recorded.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 6 months of prior experience in a warehouse or shipping role.Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, including modified hand trucks.Strong physical stamina to lift heavy items, bend, and stand for extended periods.Ability to move around 250-380 pounds with a wheel dolly or hand truckExcellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Capable of performing basic math skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.Ability to work independently.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance
