Warehouse Associate- Tasty Baking Co.

We are seeking full-time warehouse associates for a warehouse in Garnet Valley, PA.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting in various shipping activities to ensure that goods are shipped in a timely and efficient manner. They are tasked with packing, loading, and unloading goods, checking for damages, and helping maintain an organized and clean shipping area.

Full-time warehouse associates will be off every Tuesday and Friday.

Schedule:

Sunday: 5:30 am – finish

Monday: 10:00 am – finish

Wednesday: 9:00 am – finish

Thursday: 8:00 am – finish

Saturday: 8:00 am - finish

Warehouse Associate Pay: $17.50/hour

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

• Assist in packing, sealing, and labeling materials to prepare them for shipment.
• Count, Load and unload goods from delivery trucks, verifying that they match the accompanying shipping documents.
• Check items for damage and take corrective action when necessary, such as notifying supervisors or documenting issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the shipping area, adhering to safety regulations.
• Operate equipment such as modified hand truck, dolly, and pallet jacks to move goods within the warehouse.
• Assist in taking inventory and in the documentation of shipping and receiving activities.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and company policies related to shipping and handling of goods.
• Support the shipping team and other departments to ensure the effective operation of the organization.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience (6 months) in a warehouse or shipping role.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as hand trucks, dollies and pallet jacks
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items and stand for prolonged periods.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capable of performing basic math skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
