Key Responsibilities
- Prepare prescriptions for pharmacist review and final verification
- Dispense patient medications manually (bottles, vials, unit-of-use) and with automated equipment
- Manage out-of-stock medications and update inventory records
- Use internal systems to order and manage drug inventory
- Collaborate with pharmacists and patient care specialists to ensure timely, accurate shipments
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient data
- Complete required company training and stay compliant with internal policies
- Remain on your feet for an 8-hour shift in a dynamic work environment
- Cross-training in other pharmacy roles may be provided
- 1 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician (Required)
- Computer proficiency and comfort using pharmacy systems (Required)
- NY Pharmacy Technician License (Preferred)
- Ability to commute or relocate to Syosset, NY 11791 prior to starting work (Required)
