Job Description
Personalized Nursing LIGHT House is seeking qualified candidates for a Part-Time Residential Aide position at our Madison Heights location.
Residential Aides provide direct support to residents receiving substance use disorder treatment in a structured residential setting. This role helps maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment while assisting with resident needs, intake and departure activities, and daily program operations.
Preference will be given to candidates with training or experience in trauma-informed care.

Available Shift
Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Holidays as needed
Position Summary
The Residential Aide supports residents in a structured substance use disorder treatment environment by assisting with daily needs, supporting intake and departure processes, maintaining documentation, and helping create a safe and culturally responsive setting for care and recovery.
Responsibilities
Support residents with daily needs in a respectful and professional manner.
Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and guests.
Assist with client intake and departure processes.
Treat residents and guests in a culturally responsive and respectful manner.
Upload and maintain documents in the electronic medical record system.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required.
Support a safe, clean, and structured residential environment.
Communicate effectively with team members regarding resident needs and concerns.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills required.
Willingness to learn internal systems.
Ability to pass a drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications
CNA certification preferred.
CPR certification or Basic Life Support certification preferred.
Experience working in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, residential care, or human services preferred.
Training or experience in trauma-informed care preferred.
