Responsibilities
- Performs radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods as directed by a licensed physician.
- Uses judgment to select and compute settings tailored to each patient.
- Develops and implements procedure or treatment plans in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Completes documentation to ensure compliance with hospital policies.
- Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
- Participates in performance improvement activities and monitors quality data.
- Achieves assigned goals and performs additional duties as needed.
- Completion of a radiology technology program and certification by recognized registry (ARRT(R)).
- Knowledge of radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning.
- Ability to follow instructions, plan, and organize work efficiently.
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
