RN Educator - Trauma

Role Overview: The RN Trauma Educator is responsible for enhancing trauma care by developing and delivering evidence-based education, assessments, and training for healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and plan trauma competencies for staff across all trauma-related departments.
• Design and implement education programs with measurable outcomes.
• Monitor clinical practice to ensure adherence to trauma standards and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to promote best practices and reduce risks.
• Coordinate trauma education activities, competency validations, and outreach efforts.
• Represent the trauma program through community outreach, presentations, and partnerships.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an Associate Degree.
• Certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC obtained within 30 days of employment.
