Registrar - Wound Healing Center Offsite

Role Overview: Responsible for efficiently registering patients, collecting accurate demographic information, and ensuring patients are informed of hospital policies and procedures. Acts as the initial point of contact, providing a positive first impression through professional communication and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange patient registration and verify accurate data for records and reports.
• Handle confidential patient information with discretion.
• Make decisions following general procedures, often without clear precedents.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and adherence to hospital policies.
• Assist with operational tasks using various office equipment and computer systems.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma with healthcare courses or on-the-job training in medical office skills.
• At least one year experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficient in computer use, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate office equipment and handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing wheelchairs.
• Strong attention to detail, mental alertness, and professionalism.
  
  

Physical & Environmental Requirements: Normal hospital environment, frequent walking, sitting, stair climbing, and direct patient contact. Must meet vision and hearing standards, operate various office machines, and perform physical tasks safely.
