- Performing patient assessments and identifying needs
- Initiating appropriate nursing interventions
- Providing age-appropriate care
- Documenting medical records accurately
- Managing and updating interdisciplinary care plans
- Current RN license (North Carolina or compact state)
- Basic Life Support certification (within 30 days)
- ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications (within 90 days)
- Associate's degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
- One year of OB/L&D/PP/Nursery RN experience preferred
- Compassionate and detail-oriented
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a family-centered environment
- Delivering quality perinatal care in a team-oriented setting
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Contributing to a positive birthing experience for patients and families
