Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care, Operating Room, Full-Time, Days

Role Overview: Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care. Demonstrates clinical competency through evidence-based practices across assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Ensures compliance with safety, quality, and organizational policies, including regulatory standards like TJC, CMS, and state laws.

• Responsibilities: Conducts patient assessments, develops individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and team members, and updates plans based on patient condition changes. Delivers direct patient care, delegates tasks appropriately, and monitors care quality.
• Maintains a safe environment, promotes patient safety procedures, and uses performance metrics for quality improvement.
• Educates patients and families, evaluates the effectiveness of care, and documents thoroughly. Acts as a patient advocate and care coordinator.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills: Requires an Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), RN licensure recognized in the practice state, and at least one year of RN experience or equivalent residency/training. Strong knowledge of nursing standards, safety protocols, and effective communication skills are essential.

Additional Info: This is a day shift role, reporting to a supervisor, with responsibilities including compliance, documentation, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.
