Join our team as a full-time, night shift Labor and Delivery Charge Registered Nurse responsible for managing shift operations and ensuring quality patient care.
As a Charge RN, you will serve as a liaison to communicate with leadership, assign patients, provide clinical support, and address patient care issues. You will mentor new staff, participate in performance evaluations, and assess patient/family needs to develop and revise care plans accordingly.
Key responsibilities include supervising, delegating, and ensuring adherence to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
Qualifications include a 2-year degree, current Kansas RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 14 days, and ACLS certification specific to the unit. Preference is given to candidates with a 4-year degree and relevant experience.
