Role Overview: A Radiologic Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic images to assist Radiologists in patient diagnosis and care.
Key Responsibilities: Perform various imaging procedures including X-rays, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI. Ensure accurate patient positioning, workflow, and image quality for precise diagnoses. Conduct routine and special imaging procedures, including film processing and administering radiopaque materials. Place and manage orders in the HIS system, and obtain patient histories and consents before procedures.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum one year of certified radiologic technology experience or clinical experience from an ARRT-approved program. Valid CA Medical Radiographer license, current AHA BLS certification, and knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment. Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and effective organizational skills are essential.
