Role and Responsibilities: Provides patient care during Nuclear Medicine procedures, utilizing radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in compliance with ALARA standards. Operates equipment to measure radiation, produce images, and relay data to physicians for interpretation. Ensures safe handling of radioactive materials, including radiopharmaceutical administration (orally and intravenously). Promotes a culture of safety by adhering to policies, regulations, and patient safety standards.

Qualifications And Skills

• Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist in Nuclear Medicine
• Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (N) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
  
  

Key Duties: Operate imaging equipment, handle radioactive materials safely, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and support diagnosis and treatment. Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety standards.
