Key responsibilities include managing litigation calendars, deadlines, hearings, depositions, and scheduling. You will draft, proofread, and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and court filings, as well as coordinate discovery, document production, and case management activities.
Additional duties involve communicating with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel, organizing electronic case files, assisting with trial preparation, and utilizing case management software, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
Qualifications include a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in personal injury or insurance defense, bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, and strong organizational, communication, and case management skills. Experience in medical malpractice is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
