Medical Assistant - Oncology

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Oncology team in Middletown, NY. In this role, you will provide essential support to healthcare providers and ensure exceptional patient care throughout the oncology treatment process.

Responsibilities include

• Assisting with patient intake, including obtaining vital signs and medical histories
• Preparing and sterilizing exam rooms and medical instruments
• Assisting providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Administering medications and injections as directed
• Managing patient documentation and updating electronic health records accurately
• Providing patient education and emotional support
• Handling specimen collection and processing
