Seeking a part-time social worker (20 hrs.) to deliver clinical social work services in a specialized Thyroid Center dedicated to pediatric thyroid conditions.

- Providing multidisciplinary care, including evaluation, diagnostic procedures, treatment support, and follow-up for children with thyroid nodules and cancer.
- Conducting psychosocial assessments, offering individual and family coping support, crisis intervention, and resource navigation via in-person and telehealth modalities.
- Collaborating with the medical team to address psychosocial issues such as adjustment to diagnoses, treatment challenges, family distress, trauma, and safety concerns.
- Assisting patients and families in accessing internal and external services and developing programs to support them.
- Partnering with the Endocrine Mental Health Team for coverage needs.
- Master’s degree in social work.
- Experience in medical settings and child protection preferred.
- Flexibility, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
- Licensed or licensed-eligible (LICSW preferred) in Massachusetts.
