House Manager/nanny/housekeeper

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced House Manager/Nanny/Housekeeper to oversee the smooth operation of a private residence including support and transportation of 2 older children. This multifaceted role combines daily housekeeping, childcare, school drop off/pickup, laundry, grocery shopping, running errands, meal prep/cooking, pet care (1 small dog) and watering plants. The candidate must have personal and/or professional experience managing a household. A successful candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service. Must be able to independently identify household needs. Responsibilities

• Daily school drop off and pick up for young teenager
• Daily housekeeping/cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, dishes, laundry, bed linens, bathrooms, and organizing spaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Provide attentive childcare, including supervising children’s activities, preparing meals, assisting with homework, and ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Taking child to/from appointments and practices as needed.
• Grocery shopping, running household errands. Must be able to identify grocery/household needs, prepare shopping list, ensure house is stocked adequately.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to family preferences.
• Manage schedules for family members, appointments, and household errands efficiently.
• Handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in private residence management.
• Demonstrated expertise in residential cleaning, housekeeping management, and household organization.
• Experience in childcare or nanny roles with a focus on child safety and development support.
• Skilled in cooking, laundry, and general household maintenance tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Have a safe, reliable car
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills combined with customer service experience to interact professionally with family members.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining discretion at all times.
• Nonsmoker
• Comfortable with pet care (1 small friendly dog)

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
