Job Overview: 3pm-11pm Saturdays & 7am-3pm Sundays @ $22.00/hour
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated WEEKEND CAREGIVER to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being. As a WEEKEND CAREGIVER, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, medication administration, and mobility support.
- Monitor health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments through tailored care plans and direct support.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively and ensure continuity of care.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while providing compassionate support.
Skills
- Proven experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, assisted living, or long-term care.
- Familiarity with patient monitoring practices
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities.
