We are seeking an experienced House Support Specialist to lead daily operations of a Level 5 group home serving individuals with significant behavioral challenges. This leadership role focuses on staff supervision, behavioral programming, professional documentation, and maintaining a safe, structured environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise direct care staff during assigned shifts
- Oversee day-to-day programming, routines, and structured activities
- Implement and monitor behavior support plans
- Train, coach, and support staff on documentation and behavioral strategies
- Ensure accurate data collection, daily logs, and incident reports
- Review staff documentation for quality, accuracy, and compliance
- Respond to behavioral incidents using approved interventions
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required (college coursework preferred)
- 3 plus years experience in residential, behavioral health, or group home settings
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience working with high behavioral needs
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
