Key Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores
• Support clients in developing independence and life skills through personalized training and encouragement
• Monitor and document clients’ progress, behaviors, and health status accurately
• Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with team members and family members
• Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all clients
• Accompany clients to community outings, appointments, and recreational activities
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or behavioral challenges
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Associate and bachelor's degree
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards individuals with disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods as needed

Requirements

The applicant must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical. A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License is required. DHS FBI Fingerprint, PA Childline, and PA Criminal clearance are required.
