Perry Reid Properties is seeking a motivated, full-time Property Manager to join our team in Emporia, KS. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in property management, leasing, sales, or customer service is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required, and experience with online marketing platforms is a plus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain and improve property occupancy through effective leasing and resident retention
- Greet prospective residents and conduct apartment and community tours
- Respond promptly to leasing inquiries and follow up with prospective residents
- Process rental applications, collect application fees and security deposits, and coordinate the approval process
- Schedule move-in dates and communicate with new residents throughout the leasing process
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure apartments are move-in ready
- Maintain accurate resident files, lease records, and property documentation
- Track lease expiration dates and assist with lease renewals
- Prepare reports and perform general administrative duties
- Assist with property marketing and maintain current listings of available apartments
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all resident interactions
Qualifications:
- Previous property management, leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and property management best practices is preferred
