What are the responsibilities and job description for the Color Guard Advisor position at Perry Local Schools, Perry, OH?
- Knowledge and experience with marching band performance techniques
- Responsible for implementing all policies approved by the Board of Education and the Music Department.
- Knowledge of the existing school district policies for extracurricular organizations
- Understanding of the proper administrative line of communication and referring all student and parent questions through proper channels.
- Available on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-8:30 pm through the football season, as well as football games, and all Band Camp and Summer practices and rehearsals as scheduled
- Must possess a valid ODE Pupil Activity Permit
- Previous experience working with high school students in a teaching capacity
- Experience with Color Guard flag techniques and choreography
- Experience with dance choreography and the teaching of appropriate dance techniques
