Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking a talented Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Technology Transactions & Privacy Practice Group in New York. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on complex, high-impact matters involving emerging technologies, data privacy, and intellectual property across a variety of industries.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing.
• 4 years of substantive experience in technology transactions and/or privacy law.
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex technology and intellectual property agreements.
• Familiarity with product development and commercialization issues, including for emerging and startup companies.
• Strong background in one or more of the following subject areas:
• Enterprise software, cloud services, AI, blockchain, fintech, payment systems, mobile applications, e-commerce, interactive entertainment, and/or digital content.
• Experience supporting M&A and financing transactions with respect to IP and tech-related risks.
• Prior experience at an AmLaw 50 firm required.
• Strong communication, drafting, and analytical skills with a team-oriented and client-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex intellectual property, data use, privacy, and emerging technology issues.
• Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial and technology-focused agreements, including licensing, development, distribution, cloud/SaaS, outsourcing, and data sharing contracts.
• Support M&A and venture capital transactions with due diligence and counseling on tech-related matters.
• Counsel startup and emerging growth companies on product launches, development strategies, and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across corporate, regulatory, and litigation practices to deliver seamless client service.
• Stay current on rapidly evolving technology laws and industry best practices to provide innovative legal solutions.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Compensation: Includes an expected annual salary range of $310,000 to $390,000, commensurate with experience.
• Eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
