- Implementing physical therapy programs as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients achieve their mobility and functional goals.
- Conducting home visits to provide therapeutic treatments and exercises to improve patients' physical function and independence.
- Monitoring patient progress and making adjustments to treatment plans as needed, in consultation with a supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educating patients and their families on exercises and activities that can aid in recovery and improve quality of life.
- Documenting patient care activities and progress accurately and in a timely manner.
- Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current PTA license in the state of Texas.
- Previous experience in a home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing situations in a home care environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home visits.
- This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs.
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of the position, including lifting, transferring, and providing manual therapy to patients.
