Experience in setting up models for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation in ANSYS is a plus.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks and 3DX.
- Manage and maintain design data using PDM systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to refine product designs.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Document design processes and maintain accurate records.
- Stay updated with the latest SolidWorks and ANSYS features and industry trends.
- Manage, maintain, and interpret the Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Prepare drawings and wire diagrams as needed
- Set up CFD simulations in ANSYS to support simulation models to validate and optimize design concepts.
- Extensive experience with SolidWorks, including 3D modeling, PDM/PLM, and simulation.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with other CAD software (e.g.Creo, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in setting up CFD simulations in ANSYS.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Advanced SolidWorks 3D modeling and simulation.
- Product Data Management (PDM) and Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, including 3DX Experience, is a plus.
- Technical drawing creation.
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking and communication skills.
- Experience generating photorealistic rendering is a plus.
- Proficient in setting up CFD models for simulations using ANSYS.
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
