Job Description: Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking an Emission Prevention Maintenance Tech reporting to the Maintenance Foreman in Carlsbad, NM. In this role you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical components of oil and gas extraction and processing equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of upstream production facilities and the flow from well to facility. General Responsibilities Perform scheduled maintenance activities on equipment such as production separators, heater treaters, tanks, flares, and closed-vent-system components Oversee Vendor WTP mechanics for proper install Work with LDAR Techs to clean Flame arrestors on high- and low-pressure Flares Oversee Vendor Flare technicians for repairs Track and monitor daily costs related to emission prevention and maintenance activities. Oversee daily work orders, ensuring tasks are completed on time, and oversee crews for optimal performance Provide daily status updates on current projects/work orders Manage rental equipment for job use Communicate effectively with Lease Operators, Foremen, and LDAR personnel to coordinate parts at facilities. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED Work independently with minimal supervision Excellent communications skills Preferred Qualifications Some college or technical trade school Bilingual proficiency preferred Experience as a roustabout or previous oilfield experience Work Schedule 8 on, 6 off (subject to change) Permian Resource is an equal opportunity employer.
