Position Location(s): St. Louis or Kansas City
Bar Admission: Missouri (Kansas and/or Illinois is a plus)
Work Schedule: 4 days onsite per week
Our client is seeking a skilled litigation attorney with experience in personal injury and/or insurance defense. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and be comfortable managing cases from inception through resolution. Preference will be given to candidates with deposition and second-chair trial experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of complex civil litigation matters independently.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
- Handle all aspects of litigation defense, including direct client interaction.
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys across the firm.
- Participate in business development and marketing efforts.
- Travel as required for case-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Missouri (Kansas and Illinois license is a plus).
- 2–6 years of litigation or trial experience.
- Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent legal writing and analytical abilities.

Salary : $100,000 - $145,000
