Our client, a highly respected national law firm with more than 350 attorneys across 14 offices, is seeking an experienced Conflicts Coordinator to join its risk management team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented conflicts professional who enjoys investigative research, problem-solving, and supporting attorneys in a sophisticated law firm environment. This position is fully remote; however, candidates MUST reside near one of the firm’s office locations in Chicago, Dallas, or Detroit.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform conflict-of-interest searches for new clients, new matters, lateral hires, internal hires, and updates using Intapp Open and additional research resources
• Review and analyze conflicts reports to identify potential issues, relationships, and risk considerations
• Conduct corporate family, ownership, affiliate, and business relationship research to ensure accurate conflict analysis
• Maintain accurate client and matter information within Intapp Open, Aderant, and firm databases
• Document conflicts searches and maintain detailed records throughout the intake process
• Communicate professionally with attorneys, legal teams, and administrative departments regarding conflicts inquiries
• Support additional new business intake, risk management, and administrative projects as needed
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of law firm conflicts, new business intake, or risk management experience required
• Hands-on experience using Intapp Open required
• Prior experience performing conflict searches within a law firm environment required
• Experience within an Am Law 200, leading regional, or sophisticated boutique law firm strongly preferred
• Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-service mindset
• Ability to work independently, remain highly organized, and communicate effectively in a fully remote environment
Preferred Experience
• Experience with Aderant or similar legal management systems
• Background conducting corporate research, business intelligence research, or legal research
• Experience supporting attorneys across multiple offices and practice groups
