Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies
- Perform daily deposit reconciliation and maintain accurate financial logs
- Resolve customer and vendor account discrepancies in a timely manner
- Complete bank reconciliations and maintain financial records
- Support and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Prepare and reconcile monthly sales tax and commission reports
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal team members
- Use specialized furniture retail software (training provided)
- Provide administrative and office support for daily operations
- 2 years bookkeeping preferred
- Knowledge of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial documentation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in accounting or retail management software (we will train on industry-specific platforms)
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Retail or small-business experience is a plus
