Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, patient treatment planning and staff coordination to maximize productivity and patient satisfaction
- Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, financial reporting, billing, collections, and expense control to ensure the practice’s financial stability
- Supervise administrative staff, dental assistants, and other team members; provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and OSHA requirements
- Utilize dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft to manage patient records, appointments, billing, and electronic health records (EHR) systems effectively
- Coordinate with dental providers on clinical workflows while supporting dental administrative functions like dental records management and medical terminology accuracy
- Implement human resources policies related to staffing, onboarding, training programs, and employee relations to foster a positive work environment
- Oversee clinic inventory management including supplies procurement and equipment maintenance to ensure operational readiness
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data for continuous improvement opportunities, and report on practice performance regularly
Qualifications
- 5 Years of Proven experience managing a dental office or healthcare facility with demonstrated supervisory skills
- Strong background in dental office management with proficiency in dental-specific software such as Eaglesoft is highly desirable
- Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, managed care billing, and revenue cycle management
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO accreditation standards
- Excellent understanding of dental terminology, dental records handling, and healthcare documentation protocols
- Prior experience supervising staff within a clinical setting; ability to lead teams effectively while fostering collaboration
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; attention to detail is essential
- Effective communication skills to liaise with staff members, patients, vendors, and external partners confidently
