Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fence Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to work effectively on various types of fencing projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Duties
- Install various types of fences, including wood, vinyl, chain link, and ornamental iron.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installations efficiently and accurately.
- Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed for fence posts and bases.
- Assemble fence panels and gates according to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites.
- Assist with landscape maintenance and hardscape projects as required.
- Conduct repairs on existing fences when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or carpentry; experience in frame carpentry is a plus.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is desirable.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to fence installation.
- Previous construction site experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of concrete forming and finishing processes is beneficial.
- Experience with masonry work is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow project plans accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
