Position Details
Perham Health is seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Pharmacy to provide leadership across our hospital, long-term care, and retail pharmacy services. This role is responsible for ensuring excellence in patient care, optimizing operational efficiency, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering the development of a high-performing pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for the pharmacy department, overseeing operations, budgeting, staffing, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Ensure quality, safety, and compliance across hospital, long-term care, and retail pharmacy services, including oversight of the 340B program.
- Implement best practices, streamline workflows, and integrate emerging industry trends to optimize pharmacy operations.
- Collaborate across departments to support organizational goals and serve on committees that advance Perham Health’s mission.
What You Offer
- Licensed by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.
- Minimum of five years of pharmacy experience; previous leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hospital, long-term care, and retail pharmacy operations.
- Strategic thinker with experience in team development, process improvement, and regulatory compliance.
Work Schedule
- Full-time, salaried (exempt)
- Primarily Monday-Friday with occasional after-hours responsibilities as needed
