Position Details
The Sterile Processing Technician:
- Receives, sorts, cleans, and decontaminates soiled reusable instruments, equipment, and materials following manufacturer's instructions.
- Loads, operates, empties, and cleans decontamination equipment.
- Inspects, prepares, and sterilizes surgical instruments and other materials.
- Assembles trays and packets of instruments and medical supplies for surgical procedures.
- Loads and operates sterilizers, programs settings, and monitors temperature and other critical readings during run cycle.
- Monitors workflow and prioritizes work assignments to meet established schedules and clinical requirements.
What You Offer
- Sterile processing certification through CBSPD or HSPA required.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- The ability to maintain good working relationships with providers and staff members.
Work Schedule
- Full-time, 80 hours per biweekly pay period
- Monday-Friday, 8-hour days
