Job Summary
Join our team as a Sales Associate at PERFUME OUTLET located at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets. In this role, you’ll help customers discover luxury scents, create memorable shopping experiences, and support day-to-day retail operations in a fast-paced, energetic environment. This is a great opportunity to gain retail experience, build customer service skills, and work with a fun, supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly with enthusiasm and genuine interest, setting the tone for an exceptional shopping experience.
• Assist guests in selecting perfumes and fragrances by providing detailed product information, including scent profiles, brands and offers.
• Conduct engaging product demos to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customers to try new scents.
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process sales accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with professionalism.
• Upsell complementary products and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays by organizing stock, restocking shelves, and ensuring products are presented appealingly according to brand standards.
• Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves regularly, conducting stock counts, and communicating low-stock items to management.
• Support store cleanliness and organization by keeping the sales floor tidy, including cleaning displays and ensuring product labels are visible.
• Engage in ongoing product knowledge training to stay informed about new arrivals, promotions, and brand updates.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals while fostering a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience preferred; experience in fragrance or beauty retail is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
• Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for transactions.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in growth opportunities within the team.
• Knowledge of merchandising principles and stock management practices.
• Familiarity with store operations or similar retail environments is advantageous

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

• Retail sales: 2 years (Required)
• Beauty & cosmetics sales: 1 year (Required)
