Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and returns.
• Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves according to company guidelines.
• Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and merchandising to ensure product availability.
• Support store opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and safety checks.
• Supervise team members during shifts, providing guidance on sales techniques, customer interactions, and store policies.
• Handle customer inquiries over the phone with professionalism, adhering to proper phone etiquette.
• Assist with product demos and promotional events to engage customers and promote new merchandise.
• Uphold store policies regarding cash handling, sales transactions, and security protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and improve overall store performance.

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred, with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
• Supervising or leadership experience in a retail or grocery store environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math is essential.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse customer groups.
• Strong communication skills are necessary for engaging customers and collaborating with team members.
• Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos will support your success in this role.
• Knowledge of phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills are required for daily interactions.
