Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, providing product information and recommendations
- Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current products
- Assist with stocking, organizing inventory, and managing stock levels to ensure product availability
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support cashiering duties with basic math skills for transactions and returns while ensuring accuracy in retail math calculations
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong communication skills with an energetic approach to customer interaction
