What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Performix?
Duties:
· UNION POSITION - max 90-day assignment*
· Conversion fees are not allowed
· 3 Candidates to work evening hours – 2
p.m. -1030 p.m. (Sunday through Thursday night)
· 3 Candidates to work overnight hours –
10 p.m. to 0630 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday night)
Organizational
Relationships:
· Responsible
to and receives direction from the Supply Chain Logistics Head – MIC and
Supervisors.
Position
Overview:
· Materials
Handlers are responsible for the correct receiving, replenishment,
picking/packing/shipping, crediting, truck loading/unloading, and housekeeping
duties for MIC.
· Proper
rotation and industry storage guidelines are to be followed.
· Maintain
a clean and safe work environment for all.
· Must
meet or exceed performance metrics.
· Performs
other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
· Need
to meet productivity standard.
Skills:
· On-the-job
training for all job responsibilities is provided.
· Need
to meet productivity standard.
· Must
be available for occasional overtime.
Education:
· Must
have a high school degree or equivalent.
· Basic
computer skills are very helpful.
