Established in the summer of 2009, PAAM is a small woman-owned business in Marin with a team of 15 - 20 employees (staff and faculty) who are highly motivated, dedicated and passionate about educating youth in the performing arts and being a part of a team that creates a successful and organized studio with a great reputation.
Join our dynamic and professional team at the Performing Arts Academy of Marin (PAAM), located in scenic Mill Valley in a beautiful two-story state-of-the-art facility, offering six studios with engineered dance floors, natural light, and well maintained spaces (including a dedicated faculty room and access to outdoor patio).
We are located conveniently off of 101 in Mill Valley, accessible within minutes from the Seminary Drive and East Blithedale exits. Our current team comes to us from all over the Bay Area, representing the North Bay, East Bay, San Francisco, and the Peninsula.

THE POSITION
Are you a people person who loves creating amazing first impressions? PAAM is seeking a DOFI & Enrollment Coordinator to join our team! This role blends customer service, studio operations, and new student onboarding — ensuring every family’s experience starts with a smile and ends with confidence in their choice to dance, act, and perform with us.
JOB OVERVIEW
This role requires a positive, flexible, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys contributing to a collaborative team. Must be willing to work 5 days in-person at the studio.
- Welcome & Guide New & Current Families: Manage inquiries by phone, email, and in-person, helping new families find the perfect class fit. Answer questions or concerns current families have and/or direct them to the right person or place to get the information
- Onboard New Students: Schedule trials, track follow-ups, manage StudioFlow, and help ensure a smooth start for each new performer. Prepare student folders, send follow-up communications, and distribute new student welcome gifts.
- Studio Tours: Conduct engaging, friendly tours that showcase the PAAM experience.
- Front Desk Leadership & Support: Greet families, answer phones, post daily class schedules, prep studios, and provide general administrative support.
- Collaborate with the Leadership & Administrative Team: Facilitate the recording short email and/or audio reminders, sending SMS reminders, preparing content for video messages, and tracking retention and enrollment KPIs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Friendly, upbeat, and professional communication style.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Prior experience in customer service, performing arts education, or front desk coordination a plus.
- Comfortable with DanceStudioPro (DSP), StudioFlow, or similar systems (or willing to learn!).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite and other office software.
- Team player who takes initiative and thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Creative flair for designing (or providing feedback for) onboaring materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Genuine love of working with kids and families.
- An appreciation for the performing arts.
