Position – Service Technician Door and Window Installer
Location – Panama City, Florida
Work Schedule – Minimum of 40 hours per week (OT and weekend work as needed)
Rate of Pay - $18 - $20per hour depending on experience
Scope of Work – We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Service Technician to join our team, specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial doors and windows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various types of installations, a strong understanding of building materials and tools, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
Essential Job Functions –
· Install, repair, and service interior and exterior doors, windows, and related hardware.
· Measure and prepare work sites for proper installation.
· Ensure all installations meet building codes, safety standards, and customer specifications.
· Diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
· Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and customer interactions.
· Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and team members.
· Operate power tools, hand tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
· Keep job sites clean and organized.
· Provide on-site assessments and recommend appropriate solutions for door and window issues.
Work Requirements –
· High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
· Minimum 1–2 years of experience in door/window installation or construction-related field.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and installation instructions.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Must be able to go up ladders
· Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
